Happy New Year people. Ever since I start working in Hard Rock, I'm more independent to what I used to be? I learn to wake up early by myself, travel by bus to work, save money for household stuff (yea sucks that my family is 8 hours apart and I had to fix everything on my own), do my own laundry, boil water to drink. (wtf i know), and FIRST WORLD PAIN is SHOWERing in COLD WATER. I cannot tahan this! I don't know whether my housemate body made from BATU or BESI. Nawei, wake up 7am everyday and shower. If me, i confirm scream one. So I'd rather be smelly to work. But I no body odor so I still nice smelll.

This month Im quite broke because salary like chick peas ni. But next month I'm gonna be rich with all that overtime money. And I'm gonna save it to get a car. Give me 6 months! I'll get a secondhand car. =D

I received my super early Christmas present from my Finance Department colleague. I'm really new so I missed the chance to draw name and buy present for my colleagues. But they did not leave me out for the gathering and makan makan feast in the office today. =) My material officer was like. 'Cindy, later remember must go up and eat ok? I replied ' but May, I didn't pay for it'. She said 'Nevermind and someone bought you a present.Make sure you come ok?' She kept reminding me. And today was sucha a busy day, spent my whole day in store to learn about the items and how to issue out stuff and maintaining order requisition. Fuh, but I like it. Time pass damn fast. Didn't even realise it was 5pm already. So overtimed for an hour. Half an hour spent eating with colleagues in office. Again TURKEY. LOL!I feel blessed. =)

Tomorrow is gonna be a BUSY day. Why? Sunday and Monday Office close plus it's Christmas. =D

Work was pretty stressful today. First, freaking general items can make you DIE! I hate housekeeping department. Fucking rude bangla. Lucky my boss diao them back. =) Second, stock counting. Stupid transporter guy mixed up all the items. Luckily, my boss called up the boss and diao him. =) Third, I hate it when a specific department don't come and get their stuff when we've already called like million times and they'll answer. 'we're coming'. Bitch please, you're coming from Malacca? Luckily, i have such a good boss to shoot them when they came and collect items. They were so scared. =D

Anyway, I still love my job. Today is Motown day. I had the best meal. Turkey breast with mushroom sauce, homemade chicken burger, potato wedges and lots more lar. =D

So I'm now working in Hard Rock Hotel Penang. A lot of my friends was saying WHY PENANG? So FAR? Won't home sick meh? LOL for me I don't care how far i work or if I'm totally new to the environment as long as I love what i'm working and the environment I'm working with and the hotel matters the most. Reason I choose Hard Rock because it's damn ROCK can. Freak. My first day of work was abit boring lar because my manager brought me around and introduced me to new people, he was like' this is my new BAND MEMBER' Cindy. Dope eh? Band member can. not employee. LOL. Second day of work was awesome. Because I get to do stuff on my own now. =) Basically my job is just office work, calling people and warn them not to be late to take their supplies. LOL. And i get to see suppliers everyday for all the perishable and non perishable materials. DOPE! I know how to choose fresh vegetables already now. =D

I think the first two day i quite healthy. why?

Woke up at 7am, sleep at 9pm! WTF not CINDYGAN.

Breakfast =Eat bread, drink milo

Lunch = Provided by hotel. Rice with dishes.

Dinner= Bread + water.

I wanna go see where got nearest gym. gonna sign up for membership! LOL!

Don't know why lately damn in the mood of berblogging. Anyways, I'm at work now and my

Cousin went for holiday for 5 days leaving me in charge of his cafe. He asked me

to be strict to the staff. Literally like a boss, but I usually don't order people to do work a lot. I'm a nice person lar. LOL! So yeah, I'm gonna be the boss/cashier/server/bartender. Multi tasking to the max.

So I have a few happenings that I wanna share. First, It's Arthur's Day. Thanks to Erica Ting I have 6 invites to the event which was held at Speed City@ Selangor Turf Club. It was one hell of a life experience to me because I've never been to any Arthur's Day. Despite the heavy traffic jam after the concert, everything else was fine. Taio Cruz was dope and so is Mizz Nina. Taio Cruz totally made the crowd all hyped up with his hit song Little Bad Girl, Higher andDynamite.I had several cups of freshly brewed Guinness Stout, and I'm a foam lover. I really like my beers or stout with lotsa foam. Not bubbles but foam. I'm weird. =D

There are the terrible pictures you have taken of yourself in college- the one where you were at a bar with your best friends and you make the ‘holy shit what am I doing here’ face, or on the beach where you are laughing so hard because somebody just threw sand at your crotch. The necklace you got from your grandmother is here and so are the flip flops you’ve had since seventh grade because your mom bought them for you. I want you to pick up the postcards you got and your favorite book that is creased by the sides. You have read this book so much you can finish the lines by yourself and you probably love it. Then I want you to pick up your phone and look at your text messages. The one from your roommate that asks where you are, or maybe the drunk ones late at night from all the people you couldn’t be with at the moment. Oh, look! Your favorite high school bud who tells you they miss you! I want you to pick at least five people from your phone that you can call because you are feeling bad. Don’t call them, just know you can.
I want you to look at yourself in the mirror. There is a scar on your chin from the time you did something really fucking stupid with some really fucking great people.There is the face that you have grown from a little shitting baby to the person you are now. I want you to make the lamest face you can in the mirror, I want you to remember all the things you like about yourself. I want you to laugh at it. I want you to stick your butt out at the mirror and smile.
Then you put on a song that reminds you of summer, or of driving in a car. Then you put on the song that you remember listening to when somebody was in love with you. I want you to think of the best memories you have had, and simply appreciate how you have had them. How you have felt something so big for somebody it made you nauseous and when they left, the best people in the world listened to you when cried about it. You would feel that again, you think. You just might, you think. Refuse love being the end-it-all of your life. It happens and it doesn't, and it usually happens again (which is what is so great about it.) Then I want you to cough or scream or raise your arms and simply remember how you are not alone. How you are here and you are here and that is where you are. Having you in my life was one of the happiest moment for me. Truthfully, it's not the distance that kill us both. It's the feelings that are falling apart. Yes, I finally finished my 2 years 4 months of Diploma in Hospitality Management in TARC. At first I was really happy about leaving college and the thought of no more assignments and finals got me so hyped up. But I was a fool to not think about the memories I've made here. Now, reluctant to leave the college because I know I'm gonna miss every single one of the friends I've made here. Especially my classmates who have been through with me for 2 years and 4 months, bearing my lazyness in copying notes and waking up. Yes, I have morning calls from them, to make sure that i attend class. There comes a point in life where everything will be drifted apart. Also I will miss my hostel friends. Zhe Yee and Crystal especially, without them, my life in hostel would be meaningless. They brought entertainment to my life, just by talking nonsense with them , I feel contented. Crystal is like a mother to me. She is one hell of a good friend anyone can ask for. She's such a sweet girl, willing to help you when you're clueless about something. And she's a pretty good nurse too. I'm gonna miss her asking me to take my medicine, cooking dinner for me when i'm broke, spending time with me even-though she's tired. Argh. My eyes are all teary now.

Separation is such an ass. But I know nothing last forever but if there is effort, friendships won't end just like that. T_T

I'll also miss my college friends. I'll miss the outings, parties, random mamak sessions we had.

Argh! I'm emotional.

Oh how much I miss working in Pangkor Laut Resort. Was looking back at all the pictures and gahh i wish my internship period would be longer. ='( I really miss working in hotels despite the odd working hours and hectic moment when we have sudden check in guest. Sighs. I miss setting up for banquet, I miss doing turn down service with my myanmar buddies, i miss eating in the kitchen, i miss sleeping on the bed, i miss soaking my feet in the jacuzzi, i miss sweeping the walkway, i miss the towel folding session we had from my Bangla friend which is now doing very well in Germany, i miss the company there, i miss the friends I've made in Pangkor, i miss rushing for car ride so we don't need to walk to work, i miss waking up early for breakfast with him. ='(, i miss the dryer machine, i miss the peacock, i miss the monkeys, i miss the boat ride, i miss eating in Ye Lin, and i miss every single thing there. Yes, I may have complained too much when I was interning but no doubt, the more you complain about a place, the more you're gonna missed it. Sighs. I hope Mr Dalip approve our staff price for the rooms so we can all go Pangkor Laut in JULY!

I've baked apple pie, cream puff, quiche loranche, cheese and butter bread, red bean bread and CHEESE TART! The cheese tart was orgasmic.

I won't bake at home ever. Because when i bake in pastry kitchen, everything is there. Senang.

So today me and my sister went to visit my cousin in Ping Ming Primary School during recess and brought her McD Happy meal. When we reach the school. Like havoc.com. The Pulau Perhentian Trip! Weeeeeeeeeee! I really miss the LAUT dan PASIR, ever since i left Pangkor I can see no such thing in KL. KL like not a proper place to live in. The weather is like crap. One moment 50degree the next is 20degree. Ok. I exaggerate bit but seriously from sunny to rainy. Second thing I'm hyped up about is my awesome friends from Malacca coming up to KL!We're gonna go food hunting and sleepovers and car rides is always fun with them. LOL. Their initial plan to go up to KL is to go Bruno Mars concert, but what the fook, tickets sold out in 4 days. Disappointment.

Oh, I have a funny true story to tell. My classmates [A damn freaking kiasu one] one day before midterm didn't sleep, eat, bath, brush teeth, walk, change bra panties, and etc, the result is 39/100. And me on the other hand, sleep kao kao, eat till want vomit, bath don't know how many times, walk don't know from where to where, change bra panties like 2 set and etc get higher results than her[78/100]*coughs*. Yes. This is the first time that i'm so tired after training here for almost 2 months. *dies*.

I woke up at 9am. Went work. Finish at 5pm. Start back at 6.30pm. Ends at 7.30pm. Start again at 12MIDNIGHT till 2.30A.M! And that midnight session. Carried stuff like mad. Injured my ankle because of the stupid blardy edge. Walking backwards carrying stuff didnt notice. Poof collapse. One week don't know how many injuries i can get. Pro.com Enough about the tiredness. But our effort did pay off i think. The deco is abit awesome compared t

Have been raining every single freaking night here which makes me want to stick to my bed more.

I am tired. Why? The blardy hills and all. Argh! Work was ok. Except ironing. Which is super hot and steamy. Yes, currently working in Pangkor Laut Estates as a Estates attendant or preferably known as Butlers. When there's no guest you do all those shitty jobs but i take all that as an experience. I'm only complaining about the hills. Steeply hills. Pangkor Laut Estates(PLE) is different from Pangkor Laut Resort. In PLE we have our own reservation system, front office, housekeeping and f&b. All service is personalized. The price range for 3 nights in PLE is 8,000 to 14,000 USD. Yes. It's that expensive. But all meals are provided. Estates is like a really huge land with 2 to 4 bedrooms depending on which estates lar. And every estates have their own swimming pool, jacuzzi, living pavillion and dining pavillion. I was not really amazed by estates. It's not what I expected but oh well it's still so pretty. Damn have the urge to just jump in the pool. Go visit the pangkorlautestates.com for more information.
